1. What is Your deferential Diagnosis?

My DDx are-

  1. Pneumonia 
  2. P. Tuberculosis 
  3. Lung abcess
  4. P. Infarction

2. How manage this patients?

3. What are the Management of pneumonia?

Case Scenario 2: 

A 55 year old man with recurrent pleural effusion. 

  1. What is the deferential Diagnosis? 
  2. What are the Management of this patients?

Case scenario 3:

A 55 years old man with haemoptysis and breathlessness.

1.What is the deferential diagnosis?

  • Pulmonary Tuberculosis 
  • Lung cancer
  • Lung abscess 
  • Pneumonia etc

2.What is the Laboratory investigation of the patients?

  • CBC
  • Sputum for AFB
  • Sputum for Gene expert 
  • Sputum for C/S
  • Chest X-ray

Case scenario 4:

A 55 years old man presented with breathlessness, clubbing with lymphadenopathy
1. What is the deferential diagnosis?
  • Lung cancer
  • Advanced stage of Pulmonary Tuberculosis 

2. What is the Laboratory investigation of the patient

  • CBC with ESR
  • Sputum for AFB
  • Sputum for Gene expert 
  • Sputum for C/S
  • Chest X-ray
  • CT maybe helpful 

Case scenario 5:

A patient having COPD(Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) suddenly develops severe respiratory distress.
1. What are the D/D?
  • Tension Pneumothorax
  • Pulmonary embolism 
  • myocardial Infraction
2. Auscultatory findings of Tension pneumothorax?
3. What will you do to differentiate Pleural effusion from Tension pneumothorax other than auscultation?
  • We have to do Percussion

Case scenario 5:

All finding of Tuberculosis positive with
acites and cervical lymphadenopathy?
1. What is Diagnosis? 
  • My diagnosis is extrapulmonary Tuberculosis involving peritonium & lymph node.

Case scenario 6:

Known case of Bronchial Carcinoma with clubbing,pedal odema,gynaecomastia, and urinary protein Positive (++).
1. What is your diagnosis? 
  • My Dx is paraneoplastic syndrome( B.ca with NS)
