The residency result sheet signed by Professor Dr. Sahana Akter Rahman lists….. students who have passed. Earlier, the MD/MS test was held at 10 am in different centers of the Dhaka. The MD/MS test was held at BUET West Palashi Campus, BUET Main Campus, Home Economics College(HEC) & Ideal College on Central Road at 10 am. A total of……… Residency candidates participated in this Residency admission test against the allotted seats of five faculties under BSMMU.

MD/MS residency result had published Friday (December 18) evening. University Vice Chancellor (Education). The result sheet signed by Professor Sahana Akter Rahman lists 1048 students who have passed. Earlier, the MD/MS test was held at 10 am in different centers of the Dhaka. The MD/MS test was held at BUET West Palashi Campus, BUET Main Campus, Home Economics College and Ideal College on Central Road at 10 am. A total of 8,498 candidates participated in this Residency admission test against the allotted seats of 5 faculties under BSMMU.

The number of faculty-based examines is 810 in the Faculty of Medicine, 694 in the Faculty of Surgery, 698 in the Faculty of Basic Science and Para clinical Science, 410 in the Faculty of Dentistry and 787 in the Faculty of Pediatrics. The faculty-based seats are 378 in the Faculty of Medicine, 485 in the Faculty of Surgery, 124 in the Faculty of Basic Science and Para clinical Science, 48 in the Faculty of Dentistry and 113 in the Faculty of Pediatrics. Incidentally, the admission test for the residency course is usually held in the first week of November. However, this year(2020) the BSMMU university’s academic council decided to hold the test in December 2020, a month later, in “special circumstances” caused by the corona virus epidemic.
