Firstly Dr Gangadharan Started his career as a tutor in Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology at Medical College, Thrissur.Next joined RCC as Assistant Professor and Head of Medical Oncology in 1989.then he took Bone Marrow Transplantation Training programme in USA and UK with NCI and WHO fellowships.Letter he also worked as a teacher in graduate and post graduate training programmes at various university and as examiner of Medical Oncology (DM) at various Indian Universities. He Has delivered scientific discussion as invited speaker in 60+ seminars and scientific meetings.

He Actively involve in the mission of educating the public on prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer through various campaigns and classes, articles in newspaper,and audio and video media.
He also Established Cochin Cancer Society to extend the cancer treatment to the needy people and underprivileged cancer patients and to ensure that no patient is denied treatment due to financial crisis.
He also Trained in Bone Marrow transplantation from Georgetown University Hospital, Washington DC, USA and Royal Marsden Hospital Sutton, UK and awarded with Prestigious Fellowships of NCI, USA & World Health Organisations.
He also Participated as Prime Investigator in 38 national and international multicenter clinical trials and had been the research guide in ten Post graduate research thesis including thesis in Ayurveda & Music Therapy.
He has to publish 40+ scientific publications in national and international Medical and Oncology journals in the world.
He is the authored chapters in 3 Medical textbooks.Authored the book name “Jeevithamenna Athbhutham” reflecting his clinical experiences with his patients.He is Peer Reviewer in Journal of Medical and Paediatric Oncology.
He has to honoured with 60+ awards by various organizations at state, national and international level for his medical excellence and community health services.
