How difficult is it to be a Canadian doctor after doing PLAB?

Canada is a wonderful place for Canadians to live, and it is a great place to visit from other country.

Canada is the most hard developed country for an IMG to qualify for a medical license exam.

First of all, you have to immigrate and become a Permanent Resident or a citizenship before you can get a job or start taking the medical licensing exams in Canada. Bring along enough money to support for about 5 years. The jobs available to new immigrants which are not high-paying job.

After you get permanent residentship, you may take the Medical Council of Canada(MCC) Qualifying Exam. You must pass this qualifyng exam before you are eligible to take the rest of the Medical Council of Canada Licensing exams.

Canada does not have extra medical residency positions for immigrants, like the United States has. Canadians, including who are studying medicine in other countries, first can fill all the Canadian residency positions .immigrants only have access to about 300(three hundreds) residency positions in the first iteration of the Canadian match process. Many immigrants apply to match several times, and still are not able to match.
Also, Canada has a lengthy winter season that is inhospitable for immigrants.
